Our Mission

We started Thai Bike because renting a scooter or motorbike in Thailand still feels like a gamble for most international riders - passports held as collateral, surprise damage charges, and murky insurance clauses sit between tourists and the freedom of the open road. Our mission is to replace that friction with trust. We vet every partner shop, enforce a strict no-passport deposit policy, verify every rider's International Driving Permit up front, and document each bike's condition with photos at delivery and return - so riders can focus on the ride, and shops can focus on running great businesses.

What We Do

Thai Bike is a marketplace connecting international tourists with verified independent rental shops across Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Samui, and Phangan. Every listing shows honest specs, real photos of the bikes, transparent daily and weekly rates, and the exact refundable deposit in Thai baht. Riders pre-pay securely by card, upload their IDP and driver's license for verification, and get free delivery to their hotel. No passports are held at any point in the process.
