  • Beach Road one-way system

    Beach Road runs one-way southbound in central Pattaya; Second Road runs one-way northbound. Familiarise yourself on a map before riding - going the wrong way is common for new arrivals and will get you stopped at the Soi 6 or Central Road checkpoints.

  • Second Road evening traffic

    Second Road gets heavily congested from 6-10 PM in high season. If you can, use Third Road (Pattaya Sai Sam) or Sukhumvit as an alternative north-south route - the ride is faster and less stressful.

  • Monsoon season (May-October)
