Filano on Lamai Viewpoint vs Scoopy on Thalang Road
I rode the rented Lamai-kiosk Filano up Lamai Viewpoint in February without strain - 125 cc Blue Core spinning soft, full LED throwing a clean cone on the unlit dropdown back to Hua Thanon. Rent the Yamaha Filano on Koh Samui if your week is Bophut boutiques and Lamai Viewpoint dinners, you're 160 cm+ and the 125 cc on the climb matters, and 50 THB/day buys the retro-elegant identity I rolled into Fisherman's Village. Rent the Honda Scoopy on Koh Samui if you're 155 cm or shorter and need the 746 mm flat-foot I duckwalked off the Thalang Road kerb.
